Mr. Nelson specializes in litigation of complex medical malpractice and commercial vehicle defense cases.  He has spent over three decades defending healthcare providers, trucking companies and commercial carriers, and other commercial vehicle operators, ranging from single owner-operators to large companies. Mr. Nelson co-chairs our Medical Malpractice Defense practice group and our Transportation and Commercial Vehicle practice group.  He has conducted numerous bench and jury trials in both Utah and Idaho and has successfully defended clients in arbitration, mediation and in various administrative proceedings over the years, including complex multi-party cases. Mr. Nelson has also argued several cases in Utah State appellate courts and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
