Brandon B. Hobbs

Mr. Hobbs practices as a defense attorney for health care providers, hospitals, and clinics throughout the region and has over 20 years of experience in litigation and trial work. He is licensed to practice before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and in all Utah state and federal courts.
Mr. Hobbs focuses on medical malpractice, professional liability, professional disciplinary matters, and administrative hearings before the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, and the Utah Department of Health. Mr. Hobbs also specializes in federal and state regulatory law governing health information privacy and security. He has considerable experience consulting with health care providers and businesses on HIPAA and PPACA regulations and has lectured on those topics. After obtaining his law degree from the University of Utah School of Law, Mr. Hobbs clerked for the Honorable Pamela T. Greenwood at the Utah Court of Appeals.
